Alan Hooker
Right. High time I had a go at a Hasegawa Spook. So, next up is this, 1/48th F-4E. The lizards scheme is tempting, but I've decided on the grey 141st TFS 108thTFW New Jersey ANG birdie.
Alan Hooker
OK. Cockpit pretty much done. Now, scratching detail is NOT one of my strengths, but I did promise Bex a while back that I'd have a go at belts. And so, with the foil lids kindly provided by her, here are my crude results..........................................they can only get better4 with practice Edited August 31, 2011 by Alan Hooker

silverkite211
Ignore Hasegawa's instruction to have the '30 Years of Phabulous Phantoms' legend on both sides of the fuselage, it was only on the left side.

Alan Hooker
Main construction completed. The difference in quality over the previous Revell and Italeri kits is deffo much higher, overall fit being pretty good. Just a bit of filler needed around the port intake and the forward fusalage/wing junction.
periklis_sale
good progress the inside of the airbrake bay is not red but the same color as the bottom of the fuselage. Red are only the actual air brakes and their actuators!
Jabba
Nicely put together. Can only add that Perkis is right about the inside of the airbrake bays.

Alan Hooker
Decals all on. Last time I used Hasegawa dec's, they were horrible, thick, and silvered badly. This lot were much thinner, went on like a dream, and reacted well to Microset.
