chrisrope
Heres my build for this GB. Its an old Hasegawa F-4E Phantom which had become a bit of a stash queen. Box Sprues ( the men were painted when I got it, hope they don't count as 25%) Bit of progress today It will be done completely OOB as the markings on the box, 388th Strategic Fighter Sqdn. chrisrope
Hi Lots done today. I got a bit carried away and forgot to take any progress pics, but this is where I stand tonight. Fuselage together, wings on and canopy masked. Tape is setting the wing root gap Pylons for chosen load out are on aswell I have had ago at the natural metal area using Tamiya wethering sets over a base of Humbrol 56. This will be sealed and masked off. For an old kit its going together quite nicely, bit of filler here and there. Hope to start top coats soon Cheers Chris
chrisrope
An update on my build. The undersides were painted grey and masked off along with the exhaust area. The pics show it after it had its second coat of tan applied. The tan is not as dark as it looks in the pictures. Hope to get the other colours on in the next few days. Cheers for looking Chris
chrisrope
Hi, I got the three colour camo finished using the blu tac method. Its not stricly accurate but it will have to do as my Phantom is now FINISHED The decals were old and awful, the loadout is probably wrong and innacurate but I'm happy with it. Rhino
You wouldn't be the only one happy with that one, well done.
