Hi all,

Nipped out at lunch yesterday to have a wonder round town (Boston) and at The Works they have a Turntable thing by Donna Dewberry (I kid you not and yes she's American). It cost £5.99, so I bought it, and I'm glad I did. Normally it cost £20 and I can see why. The turn table can tilt, be held secure and comes with 4 movable clamps, which are now holding my latest project (Tamiya Challenger 1 Mk 3 - Those who know me it's the one I crashed in Germany!). The uses are endless. For me it will be a stable platform for adding PE parts.

I imagine it could be used for anything, so go on treat yourself I did.

P.S. I don't work for The Works, though a commission may be forthcoming :analintruder:

Here's a link as to what it looks like:turntable

Looks good, I'll see if my local store has any in.

They should have some in Lincoln, I know that The Works will bring stock over from one site to another at no cost if they don't.

Thanks for the tip: picked one up in Penzance this afternoon.

It'll be Monday until I get into town, so hopefully.

Hi All,

I've added these images so you get an idea of the size of the platform. The model is a Tamiya Chally 1 1:35 to help you scale it.

Just checked their website and its not listed so it might be an end of line item only available in a few of their shops. must have a look in my local shops, yes shops for some reason they list 3 within 5 miles of where I live.

I've just phoned every branch in south london and no joy :(

I bought one on Sunday at The Works shop in Croydon. There was one left.

Great piece of equipment.
