I will be trying to complete the new-ish Airfix Mig 15 in 2 12 hour sittings.

Not sure yet whether to go for the nmf Soviet markings or go for broke with the stripey green and sand over black North Korean example.

I think given the timescale that any heads up you have would be useful!

i dont want to spoil the fun for you...i mean its only a hobby and for fun.

things that stand out, are the main wheels, same size as the front and the wings, the rear side where it attactches to the body, it doesnt angle off but just meets it at the same angle.

few little niggles shape wise, but apart from that i hadnt looked further.

would love to see the striped version.... may consider getting it myself......

mrcooljules - Thanks for the info, I'll check references for the undercarriage.

Mish - Thanks Mish, looking forward to this one.

Robw_uk - I'll give the stripey one a go then, should have plenty of time using Tamiya acrylics.

And I'm off, doing a 10 till 10 shift today.

I thought I'd start with dipping the canopy in Klear so as to let it dry and harden well before masking this afternoon (according to the plan anyway!)

Its the only clock I have other than my mobile and the DVD player; difficult to focus on the model in the photos with that in the background though!

I'll be leaving it here for the night, pity I didn't finish the canopy masking though.

I started a little later than I wanted today at 10:15. I've just masked and fixed the canopy and also finished off filling and sanding the drop tanks.

Ready for some primer now.
