daz greenwood Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I voted for scheme 3 as I like that coloured tail and spine.
AnonymousDFB1 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Three is the best looking but in a war zone, got to be Two
bexwh773 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I love option 3, but as Richard is using his own war story, I had to go with the Low Viz scheme of Option 4, perhaps, Richard might consider Option 3 in the future if they win the war Bexy
Andrew Jones Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I voted for three, to be quite honest I can't see much difference between the others, so if we can't have a Lightning with red/white checks then it has to be three.
TaiidanTomcat Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Four for me! I like all the lo vis but the darker colors on 4 are really neat.
RussTnailZ Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 4 for me i love its dark menacing presence Russ
Paul Davies Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Whilst 1 or 4 IMO would make for a more realistic in service aircraft, 3 would make for a more interesting model - perhaps it's that years display aircraft? It got my vote anyway.
Gekko_1 Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 OK what I've decided to do is use this profile............ and because the hi-vis scheme got so many votes I will also do one of them too. The hi-vis Lightning will also have the full Matra rocket pod fit as well and will be heavily weathered, so there will be a small to moderate amount of paint chipping in the hi-vis colour areas as well as re-spray areas etc. I hope that is an acceptable compromise for all? Cheers Richard.
tropical thistle Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I hope that is an acceptable compromise for all? Nice!
Daniel Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 To be honest, they're all the best schemes I have ever seen! Dan
