Revell GR1 Tornado straight from the box, a little tweaking in the office. This is a superb kit, detail is just exquisite, my first in 1:144. Sprayed with own mix of Vallejo Iraqi sand and flesh colours. Decals are operation Granby set from kits world and some stencil details from kit.

Ladder is by Monokio. You get 3 different types, 8 of each on the one piece of photo etching, only about 7 quid I think. Not sure how accurate it is to the tornado but they are beautifully made, very delicate. From hannants. Search "ladder" in 1:144.

Stunning Example!! I especially like your weathering, did you use exhaust stains or simply paint them on?

Great work.

Weathering is mix of Bronwy/sandy oil paint washes sealed in with Klear and airbrushed black and tamiya smoke mix on top, very thinned and built up very slowly. Kit is Revell.

Thanks for all the kind comments people.

Great made model, excellent painting! I hope to make similar. :clap2:

I want to use JP233 but as I know it was used at the beginning conflict only, isn't it? If yes, then using decals from kits world and JP233 will be incorrect... Please confirm it. I want to build model which will be realistic as possible.

I'm building this very kit as a gulf war Tonka for a group build elsewhere. Your build is Gobsmackingly good!

I'm giving up modelling . . . . .
