This is looking stunning.

Sorry to hear about the missus - I've just been through Gall Bladder surgery myself, though thankfully without any of the complications your wife has had to put up with.

Now that paintwork looks crisp and clean, the demarcation is spot on, a superb bit of painting on a tough scheme like this one.

Give my best to SWMBO, my wife had the endoscopic procedure and it still took a long time for her to get over it, not nice.

Regards,

JB.

Thanks for the feedback on the build and the kind wishes for SWMBO, both are very much appreciated.

Only one trip to the hospital this week has allowed me some modelling time .................. and she's FINISHED!!! :elephant:

Without further ado here are the pics :-

I was quite pleased with the starter exhausts - I painted the previously milled hole flat black and then added a 10 thou thick plastic card doughnut sprayed Alclad Aluminium to each of the 4 exhausts :-

Excellent result, Ian.

I've enjoyed this thread from the start, in particular how you set the scene for your build. Thanks for the many updates on your progress and the great photos. Hope that all is well now for your wife.

Cheers,

Andrew.

Ian, I do have one question (which may have been answered before, but I can't find it): What camera do you use please? The close up photos in particular are very good, much better than I can currently achieve with my DSLR...

Many thanks for the positive comments everyone, most appreciated!! SWMBO is much better now but has follow up visits to the hospital sheduled for the next month or two and a gall bladder removal operation to look forward to sooner rather than later. Hopefully there won't be any more c*ck ups during that .......

Ta!

John,

I hesitate to say this, as it's nothing fancy, just a Sony Cybershot DSC-W50 6 Megapixel point and shoot jobbie. I take all my model photos in macro mode, illuminated by the two OTT lights I have on my workbench.

Cheers,

Ian

Thanks Ian - "nothing fancy" obviously does the job perfectly. I'll just have to work on my macro photography :D.

Cheers!
