Today I bought the A380 kit by Revell and I'll make an INTERFLUG version of it.

For more background information please read my Interflug-Concorde-Thread ;)

That's what she gotta look like ... in the Interflug colors of 1990...

filled the A380's windows 'cos there were no windows inside the box but window decals.

Looking good, I wondered if anyone would fill the windows on their A380 builds.

Also - I have to fit modelling around travelling too!

Looks like you'll be making quick progress on this

um ... no ... not really ... I'm also building a Boeing 737 which is not part of the What If Group.

you won't believe it ... but the landing gears are all individual parts and I can't believe that this will hold that huge and heavy A380 :fraidnot:

Look at the size of that plane! :yikes:

on the left: Concorde in 1/144

on the right: Boeing 737-800 in 1/144

in the middle: Airbus A380 also in 1/144

This is a great build! Those landing gear look very complex! Well done so far how do you expect to fix the busted gear?

first of all I'll try to glue it ... if that might be instable then I will put some thin metal strips at the gear.

That gear does look an inherent weak point, maight be worth bearing in mind for others building this.
