Learstang Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Brilliant work, Andy! I just wish they'd shrink it down to 1/72nd scale (this and the XII). I'd buy those in a second. Regards, Learstang
Martian Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Nice build! and great to see it in the RNAS Culham, 1832 Squadron RNVR scheme. A particular hobby horse of mine Martin
fu_manchu Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 looks great, your build made me impulse buy one at ModelZone today!
MakingModelsAgain Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Jealous with envy, having just built one of Airfix's worst and in the middle of building one of their other worsts!
Miggers Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 That's the first one I've seen done,it looks great. It really is a very nice kit and to those(like me)that normally only build 1/72, bite the bullet and go get a kit,you really, really won't be dissapointed with it I have the Aeroclub/Airfix/spares box 1/72nd XVII in my collection of Fleet machinery, but it took me all of about 3 seconds to decide to buy this beaut. I'm in the midst of detail painting the 'pit with mine. Mark
fredsopwith Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Superb work! really does the best mark of Spit justice. Now what about a 1/72 version Airfix ?
PAULORATM Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Hi! Realy a great work on such a beautiful airplane, congratulations! I would realy like to go for a Revell 1/32 Seafire...but is it worth the pain? Cheers, Paulo
Davec_24 Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Very nice build, and that really captures the lines well doesn't it? At present mine is next on the "to build" list pending completion of my present build. Any hints or tips when it comes to building her?
