This set is designed for the newly released EA-6B Prowler from Kinetic (reviewed here). It provides lots of additional details for the landing gear bays, and replaces a number of overscale parts, such as rib detail. It also includes detail parts for the gear bay doors, with lots of raised rivets that should improve detail no end. Extra parts are included to spruce up the gear legs themselves, including some very fine hoses, and replacements for the scissor-links that are bland on the majority of model kits due to the limitations of injection moulding.

The instruction sheet is printed in black and white on this set, so the modeller may have difficulty in telling which parts to remove, replace or fill. If in doubt, follow the link at the bottom of this review for the online color version.

Conclusion

A great "detail-up" set for the landing gear that should give maximum results for the minimum of effort. There isn't much in the way of folding either, so as long as you're confident working with plastic and super glue, the set shouldn't tax most modellers. recommended.
