Julien Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 (edited) Hi, looking good, you might want to increase the angle of the leading edge, this is more what you are aiming for; Julien Edited February 12, 2010 by Julien
Ale85 Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 Is the fitting of the resin parts problematic? Or it goes well??? ciao Ale

FZ6 Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 Fantastic job so far on the build and the painting. The resin looks very nice too. Overall it looks like a neat little kit.
Skii Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Looking fantastic Honza, can't wait to see the upper surface paint
Honza K. Posted February 12, 2010 Author Posted February 12, 2010 Thank you Skii! Here is it, start of upper surfaces....
coolhand Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 Hi, Great job so far Are you planning to use the kit decals? I have found that Academy's can be a bit difficult to work with.
Honza K. Posted February 13, 2010 Author Posted February 13, 2010 Thanks guys! Academy decals are really bad. I will use Aviprint decals....
Kagemusha Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 (edited) Just came across this, very nice work, really coming alive with the decals on. Edited February 28, 2010 by Kagemusha
shark 64 Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Flawless paint work. Great build. Talented modeler you are my friend. Oliver
David H Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 This is cool, Honza!! VF-162- Neat!! Tom Weinel flew with -162, IIRC. He's a model builder and posts stuff from time to time. He's definitely an authority on the F-8 and all the kits out there. Hopefully he will see this. This kit has GOT to be easier to build than the Hasegawa F-8 i'm struggling with. BTW- what are the two things in between the main gear wells? I have never seen those before. Thanks for posting. So nice to see an F-8 without red and white checks on the tail. Cheers, david
Honza K. Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) Many thanks David! I saw your build and you have nice strart on it. keep going in this style. And about the two things behind main wheelbay.... sorry, but I donĀ“t know.... here is some little progress, wash Edited February 27, 2010 by Honza K.
