That's in scarily good condition considering it must have been lying there for nearly 60 years :gobsmacked:

Wonder if it's recoverable?

A ghost from the past....curious, the swastika on the tail looks like it was repainted at some time..???

Also, the pilot may have walked away from this landing, if so, I wonder how far he got..?

Thats an old one its already been recovered in 90-91 and has / is been restored to fly, owned by Paul Allen of Microdross fame.

Some interesting stories done the rounds a number of years ago regarding that A/C, which I am not going to repeat, it does seem that the A/C was "placed" in the position it was allegedly found in, some of the paintwork appears to be rather fresh for something that had supposedly lain there for the better part of fifty years, the undergrowth also seems to have ignored the airframe as it has grown.
