AnonymousFY21
Here are just a few poor shots of the kit. The basic sprues are common to the B(I)8 and I guess B2. The faults previously found are present in this version as well, so I won't say any more about those. The decals have the faint pattern as seen lately on all the other sheets, but are in register and look perfectly useable, although I'm not certain of colour accuracy, as I know next to nothing about the B-57. Main sprues that are different, and the wings showing the airbrakes only on the upper surface. Canopy, Cockpit tub and instrument panel Different seats and engine intakes for the various marks. rich
AnonymousER99
Not a big fan of the B-57 but it looks like airfix did it up decently. The cockpit, seats and instrument panel are horrible but a replacement will surely become available from someone.

I'm still hoping somebody might do a set for the PR9, so that we can do one with everything opened up... peebeep

rossm
That silver option looks like an RB-57E 'Patricia Lynn' variant ? If so, did they give you the cameras in the nose that they missed in 1/72 ? They don't seem to show in the sprue pics but they should be something like this : That's as near as I could get my 1/72 one anyway. The build appeared in MAM December 2008, if anyone wants it PM me and I'll risk Neil Robinson's wrath by sending you a copy of the article. Jeffry Fontaine
Anyone have the CA kit on hand to perform a comparison between the two kits? Curious to know if the resin from the CA kit will work in the Airfix kit.

It's not that difficult to correct it...if I can, any one can.
