As my other builds are progressing nicely in the Naval GB, I though it was time to get some work done on my D-Day entry.

I'm going to build the Classic Airframes Walrus and complete it in 277 Naval Air Squadron markings with its D-Day stripes as it would have been on the day.

Here's the Box:

And if there's one a/c that could have been identifiable w/o invasion stripes, then this is it!

Looks a nice kit Oz, almost but not completely unlike my SMER version of the same aircraft which has more flash than Gordon....

Yep, got the SMER kit as well, One for the kiddies to build I think!

OzH: That will be a classic sea plane...I don't think I'd want to run into Jerry in that one however...

Made some progress this last week.

Interior just about done, just need some Mike Grant decals on the IP.

Made some progress here, fusulage sealed up, udercarrage, tail plane, engine and lower wings all there.

This one is not going to make the deadline!

Got so far, managed to get the masks off today.

This is the first time I have tried the FAA shadow scheme, good fun, a really subtle affect I think.
