Hi all,

after about (or more than?) two years in the making, I can finally introduce to you my company Hypersonic Models. My web shop can be found under www.hypersonicmodels.co.uk. I produce resin detail sets, decals and paint masks (in cooperation with Miracle Masks), everything in 1:48 scale.

Available immediately are corrected, narrow tyres for the Hasegawa F-104 and a big sheet of Edwards AFB badges/shields for USAF experimental and test aircraft of the 50's and 60's.

A whole bunch of X-15 resin sets for the Special Hobby kit is ready and awaits further casting (some moulds needed replacing). The release is only a matter of weeks/days.

So please have a look and browse my website and check back over the next few weeks.

I also have a special offer for you guys in mind, so watch this space... :coolio:

Cheers

Jeffrey

Note: for all Britmodeller customers, I offer a 10% introductory discount from now until the end of August. After you've ordered, send and email with your name and order number quoting "Britmodeller" and I'll refund 10% of the order total!

I checked out your website. Looks good so far.

I started out exactly as you did. I made my own scratchbuilt corrections and additions for my own builds. A few people asked me to make a copy for them, and then, more and more were asking.

Now I am so busy I don't have time to do any building for myself!!

However, I am enjoying the challenges of master making now.

Good luck,

Harold

Thanks a lot for the encouraging words!

As for the Paragon fin correction (I first had to Google it to find which plane we are talking about ;) ) for the Tornado, it's not on my immediate "to do" list, no. But let's see, if I get everything done that is on my list and there's time, I keep it in mind!

It might be worth asking Mike or any of the other mods if you can have your own little part of the forum, like the other vendors here. That way you can advertise your products freely there.

thanks

Hi, Jeffrey!

I published in the section of references on http://scalemodels.ru/ , links on your site:

http://scalemodels.ru/links/1100-Hypersonic-Models.html

(at the same time and on Harold site:

http://scalemodels.ru/links/1099-AMS-Resin.html

http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic_t_40651.html )

during discussion there

http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic_t_40652.html

was a question of that that for drawings X-15 were used by you?

Unfortunately for some of our modelist from Siberia

http://tolkomodel.ucoz.ru/

news about release of a correcting set X-15 by you, was late:

http://tolkomodel.ucoz.ru/index/anonsy/0-19

such they at us impatient a little!

Hi Serge,

thank you very much! In my website statistics I've seen the link from scalemodels.ru and was wondering how the word had spread so quickly, so thanks for that!

I know that my sets might come too late for some, the Special Hobby kit is out for quite a while now. But better late than never...

Cheers

Now this looks very promising m8!

I guess you already can consider me as a future customer.

:hmmm: While I certainly agree that these are great subjects that deserve "proper" kitting, I don't think that at this stage I've got the capacity for full kits. Casting would have to be out-sourced as the large parts in my X-15 sets are more or less the maximum size I can cast with my equipment. I've got lots of smaller, but very nice stuff "in the pipeline" though. But that doesn't mean lifting bodies are out of discussion for ever!

Quite understand - and as much as people like me would love to see lifting bodies kitted properly with the attention to detail that the X-15 shows, it's probably a small(ish) market :). You'd have at least one sale, though ;).

Nice website, by the way. Looking forward to the release of the X-15 parts!
