Spikelhund
Nice job Ilan, paintwork and weathering look great, I built an FAA version a couple of years ago and it's a lovely kit which you've done proud. I think I'm correct in saying you need to spin the canopy around the other way. Top job sir! Cheers...

kpc7676
VERY nice once again. Hope you can reverse the canopy without too much hassle, would be a crying shame to damage the paintscheme in any way. Magnificent job, and please, keep 'em coming.
Ilan
Thank you Sir. The canopy is not glued to the model, so consider it's Don. cheers, Ilan.

Paul J
Very nice. Is that dent across the top of the cowl ring intentional? Because if it is its very well done! makes it looke well used along with all the other subtle weathering.
Diego Quijano
Really nice, Ilan. The weathering looks great. Q

Once more unto the bench
While you are spinning the canopy round you might want to paint the edges - it looks like you missed them. That minor quibble aside, this is a real beauty. 9/10 Well Done!
Notty
that is awesome, I absolutely love the hot, faded, rusted weathering it's really convincing

David H
Oops. My fault, Ilan. I forgot to mention, the wing pin lock indicators are flush when the wings are spread. Just the red top should be visible. If you installed these by inserting rod into a drilled out hole, its a simple matter of trimming them down just a little bit more so they are flat with the surrounding wing. my mistake. david
Ilan
Gentlemen, thank you very much for the kind words, much appreciated. Diego, your model was my inspiration, I wish one day I could build as good as you mate. David, no worries mate I knew what I was doing, and every thing can very easy been fixed, I do appreciate your comments! And as I only build for fun and the model is not really flying it all good! Thanks again. Cheers, Ilan.
Plasticbutcher
Gorgeous job, the weathering is particularly good. How do you do your paint chips? They look too small and 'scale appropriate' to be done with liquid mask. Mine always come up too big.
Ilan
Thank you Sir. I did the chipping with salt. If you'll have a look at W.I.P you will see that I've used salt on the first two Sades be for the mien Sade was spared. After drying just chipped it of, and here you are. HTH. Ilan. Dr Lurve
Hi Ilan Have you ever thought about doing a step-by-step technique guide with photos here on BM on how you do your paintwork and weathering. I know that i could certainly learn a lot from a skilled modeller like yiourself!!! Kind regards Rob
Ilan
Thank you Gentlemen for your kind words, much appreciated. Rod, I will try to do so in one of my coming builds, as photography is the Major time consuming part in the progress for me, but I will try my best. About skilled modeller, I don't know...I've pot the canopy wrong... Thank you again for all your support and comments, it's help a lot in the progress. cheers, Ilan.
