Just in from White Ensign Models is this supplementary set for Trumpeters excellent 1/200 Sovremenny class destroyer. The single relief etched sheet, (measuring 140mm x 95mm), contains a whole new 956E mast, including yardarms, platforms and Yagi style aerials. Also included on the sheet are new fuzing cables for the RBU 1000 and replacement boat crane platforms with their associated UNREP/RASL connection. All parts are very nicely done and because of their size, easily built up, with the exception of the RBU fittings which, as the instructions indicate, will require a steady hand as they look like they could be quite fun to fit.

Conclusion

An excellent set to supplement the main sheets, (sold separately). If you don’t have any etch for your big Sovremenny, then you need these. Recommended.
