colossusfr Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Hi, Here my last model. A quite rare model : a General Atomics GNAT 750. It is an UAV, predecessor of the Predator and the Reaper. The model is a short run 12squared. Difficult but done in only one month. It's a very small model. And all the family : a MQ-9 Reaper, a RQ-1 Predator et the GNAT 750 You can find much more informations here (written in French) : http://maquette72.free.fr/articles/2012_87...750/index87.php Alain.
Enzo the Magnificent Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Nicely done! And that's a very interesting collection.
Ed Russell Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 That's very nice, and the threesome is very interesting. I thought 12squared only did 1/144 models. Are you sure it's not 8.49squared more or less?
colossusfr Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Hi, Thanks for your comments. For Ed, yes, it is 1/72 scale. I measured the model and it seems to be the good scale. This UAV is very small. You can find on my site and on different pages on the Internet that this UAV is above the same size than a man. For example, the Reaper is much bigger. I didn't know 12squared before I found it in a show in France. It seems that most of this range is 1/72 scale. Alain.
Julien Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Very nice, I did not even know about this UAV Julien
