Mike DeTorrice Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 A remarkable model of this MIG-17 with great attention to detail ! A wonderful job on this replica and absolutely superb photographs of it, also.
Göran Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 What others said. An amazing paint job If you could tell me the specific Gunze colours you used for the tan and dark brown, I would be most grateful. /Göran

luis pacheco Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I´m a great fan of your work. I enjoy the way you do the chipping effect. Can you tell if the chipping effect is done using salt crystals?

Arkady72 Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 Thanks to all for kind words! If you could tell me the specific Gunze colours you used for the tan and dark brown, I would be most grateful. I used C313 and C039 for tan and highlighted by yellow C012 for green. There is no dark brown. Can you tell if the chipping effect is done using salt crystals? Chipping effect is achieved with small brush and Vallejo paint. I used also silver and brown pencil, no salt technique this time.
Duncan B Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Nice one Artur. Is this a new build or one from the archives?
