Eddie M. Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Here's a project that I've been working on for sometime now. I used 3 Revell Spitfire Mk IIs to get this far. I'm hoping to finish it before my daughter goes to college. That gives me 10 years. Eddie M. Posted June 17, 2008 Author Posted June 17, 2008 Very nice Eddie, have you got a story to go with this one? Sorry, I don't. Most of my imagination gets used up in the build. I do envision it being stationed in the desert though. Eddie

T-Tango Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 Looks very good Eddie, by the way did you have to use any nose weight to get it to sit ok on the u/c?
Eddie M. Posted June 18, 2008 Author Posted June 18, 2008 Looks very good Eddie, by the way did you have to use any nose weight to get it to sit ok on the u/c? Thank you! Yes I did. I used fishing weights and BBs to keep the nose down. As a matter of fact, I was worried the nose gear wouldn't be able to handle it. Eddie Yep I'm liking this one .JB. Thank you very much JB. I appreciate it! Eddie
GreenDragon Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 (edited) Nice one Eddie! I can just see these tearing across the dessert blowing the crap out of stuff! Love the way the tailplane has that eliptical curve and the rear of the cockpit pod reminds me of some old racing cars from the 50's or early 60's. BTW what scale is it? I'm currently building a resin Shadow ship from Babylon 5 for a mate but next thing I do will be a kitbash I think. Keep up the great work mate! Very inspiring.
