If anyone has followed the build saga, you may have the impression I was more or less underwhelmed with this kit. In the event, having overcome what I recon to be Eduard's main failing, that of poor location pegs or pins, this has turned out to be a sweet little number and has given me a great deal of satisfaction to see it finished.

The rigging I reckoned, would take me a good few hours to do. This was based on my normal method of using Aeroclub's Knicker elastic, which has proved so successful in the past. At last years Newark Model show, I ordered some fine brass wire from Aeroclub, having espied it earlier in the year when I bought the Albacore kit, but forgot to invest in some at the time. Thanks to Claire's infallible notebook, I finally got some at Huddersfield. So armed with dividers and a good knife balde, I set to work. 30 Minutes later, I'd finished. Easiest rigging ever.

The devil was printed on white inkjet transfer sheet from I & G Steam (01745 369980). Three coats of Mergelbeaver and they settled down a treat. Daco Medium setting solution was used for all the transfers

Anyhow, enjoy the pics, it'll be making it's first outing at the Shropshire show next month.

It's not worth bothering with, they're so small anyway. Also, they're all you've got to position the part initially. Just be ready with the superglue when you've got the part in position.
