Wot ho me hearties...........! :pirate:

I hope everyone's well. It's been a while since I've posted anything on here so I thought I'd better bug you some more. You've been getting off too lightly.......

I recognise some of you from other forums so to you guys, I apologise for boring the socks off you!

This is another of those grey jets we all adore. I did n't bother you lot with the build 'cos it's not British but if you'd like to see how it went together, there's a thread here ^_^

Anyhoo, without further ado, here are some piccies........

Now that IS impressive. Sometimes you see something which stands apart from the rest, and this is it.

1/32 scale certainly seems to produce the most realistic results, doesn't it? Coupled with excellent photography, it really is indistinguishable from the real thing - the metallic effect around the nozzles is superb. I don't know what the record is for the highest number of comments collected by a single post, but I think this might break it!

My compliments,

Dean

A stunning build!!!! with some equally stunning photography. Now you must tell us how you did the photos, was it the baseboard on top of the car jobby?

Ditto above comments. Fantastic builds, and sticking pilots in this one, that takes courage. But you've pulled it off with finesse. I've put a special gold star aside just for you. But, what next?

WHOA!!!!!

I thought the first pic was one of those "this is a photo of the subject I chose to do", took me several looks to realise it was actually your model!

I've seen some very talented modellers produce very convincing "fakes" using models and photography - of WW2 subjects, with pics in black and white, then fuzzed up, de-focused etc to produce convincing pictures.

But I have NEVER EVER seen anyone do it so utterly convincingly in COLOUR!!

If I didn't know otherwise, I would not have been able to tell that about half these photos were actually of a model. OK, I'm all out of praise now, apart from this

:mike:

EDIT: Oh, and in future, don't be so shy about posting it over here!
